COVID-19 Policies:

Last Updated (6/15/21)

Safety is a top priority at our programs.

To increase the safety of our participants and our staff, we encourage all of those who are able to do so, to get vaccinated. Vaccinations are now open to the general public, this includes adults as well as some children. Families wishing to receive the vaccination are encouraged to visit vaccines.gov for information on vaccination sites near you.

To offer a measure of protection for our families and staff who are immunocompromised, or not eligible / able to receive a vaccination, we will be implementing the following policies:

If you have any questions, please direct them to our Company Director.

Check-in / Check-out - To avoid crowds, we are asking parents to remain in their vehicles for check-in / check-out (for players over 8). One parent may accompany a child for check-in, if that child is under 8 years old. Parents are permitted to stay and watch sessions but must be away from the activity area while doing so. Depending on the sporting venue, parents may be required to socially distance or to wear masks.

Screening Participants - It is our collective responsibility to limit the spread of COVID-19. To help keep our participants, their families and our staff and their families safe, we require parents to screen their child(ren) at home for symptoms of COVID.

The below symptoms are not a exhaustive list of sypmtoms. Please check the CDC for up-to-date symptoms. According to the CDC, people with these symptoms may have COVID:

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

Check your child(ren)’s temperature. If a temperature above 100.4 is present, please keep your child and any child residing in your household home and contact our office.

If your child is displaying any of these symptoms, please keep them home along with any other child in your household that is registered for our program. Please contact our office.

Carpooling - Due to the highly contagious nature of this virus, we strongly discourage carpooling / sharing rides with other participants. In the event that a participant is required to stay home due to a COVID symptom, all participants who shared transportation with the individual will not be allowed to attend the program. We may not be able to provide credits or refunds for any family that is affected due to carpooling with another participant.

Masks - These policies have been updated, as of 6/15/21. All fully vaccinated individuals, including Vision Coaching staff, parents and participants must follow the CDC guidance regarding masks. Please refer to the CDC website for the most up-to-date policies.

    Outdoors:

    • All individuals, including Vision coaching staff, parents and participants who are fully vaccinated may choose to forego the use of a mask while outdoors.
    • Masks should be used by unvaccinated individuals when social distancing is not achievable.
    • Players:
      • During active training / play, players are not required to wear a mask.
      • Unvaccinated players are encouraged to wear a mask when not participating in an activity (ie. during break time) if the recommended 3’ of social distancing is not achievable.

    Indoors:

    • All individuals, including Vision coaching staff, parents and participants who are fully vaccinated may choose to forego the use of a mask while indoors, so long as forgoing the use of a mask indoors does not violate the policies in place at the indoor sporting venue.
      • Indoor sporting venues are privately and publicly owned facilities. Mask policies may vary by facility.
      • Sporting venues may allow or disallow spectators. Families must follow each facilities policies regarding spectators.
    • Unvaccinated individuals must wear a mask at all times while indoors.
    • Players:
      • During active training / play, players are not required to wear a mask.
      • Unvaccinated players are required to wear a mask when not participating in an activity (ie. during break time).

Training Activities - All activities will follow State and County guidelines, which may include no-contact activities, or limited contact activities, depending on where we are as a region in the reopening plan. To help facilitate this requirement, please speak with your child beforehand to make sure they understand. The participation of each child will help us ensure that our Organization is meeting the guidelines required. As of 6/15/21, activities have returned to their pre-Covid standards.

Parental Assistance - Parents often step in to help their Kinder Kicker during group classes. To ensure the safety of all participants who are of a vulnerable age and not eligible for a vaccine, if you are not fully vaccinated, please wear a mask while assisting. We appreciate your understanding.

Equipment - Participants who are not part of the Skills After School program or a Futsal program should bring their own ball to the session. We will supply all other equipment for the program. If your child does not have a ball, or forgets to bring their ball, we will provide one for them.

Groups - Group sizes will follow the State and County recommendations, and may be modified to 6, 8, 10, 12, or 15 players, or any combination of, depending on the infection rate. Players will work with the same group of players for the duration of the session. Mixing of groups will only be allowed as State and County restrictions allow for this. As of 6/15/21, group size restrictions have returned to pre-Covid Standards. Depending on your program, your group size may be as large as 16 players per coach.

Thank you for following the guidelines and helping us keep our community of players active and engaged with their peers during this challenging time.
